Welcome to the

Greetings from the Principal
Maureen DePriest
I have been a Catholic educator for 17 years; 10 years as a Teacher and 7 years as a Principal. I attended Southeast Missouri State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and St. Louis University, where I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration.Prior to my position at St. Frances Cabrini Academy, I was principal of Notre Dame Elementary School (St. Louis, MO). Notre Dame Elementary School joined with St. Pius V School in the spring of 2003 to create St. Frances Cabrini Academy. Before becoming a principal, I taught primary level and middle school at Our Lady of the Pillar School (St. Louis, MO) and at St. Joseph Cathedral School (Jefferson City, MO). I have served the Catholic Education Office in the Archdiocese of Saint Louis as a School Improvement Team Member, as an Archdiocesan Development Appeal speaker, as a spokesperson for the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation, and as presenter and mentor for the New Principal Orientation Process. I have also served on the Catholic Leadership Advisory Board at St. Louis University. Currently, I serve on the Regional Coordinator Council for Elementary Schools, on the South City Strategic Planning Committee for School and Parishes, and on the Board of Directors for the Partners Against Poverty Program. My husband, Brad, and I have been married for 18 years. We have a 13 year old daughter and a 9 year old son. Our family are members of St. Francis de Sales Parish on the near south side of the city of St. Louis. We are diehard city dwellers and share our 100 year old, rehabbed home with our dog, Gus, and our cat, Peeper.
