The SPONSORS CLUB offers students of Cabrini Academy and those living in the surrounding area an opportunity to play Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Volleyball, and Basketball on organized teams. Boys and Girls can participate from Kindergarten to 8 th Grade. Teams are coached by volunteers and emphasize fair play, teamwork, responsibility, and self-improvement. The teams play against other teams in the Catholic Youth Council (CYC) and Judge Dowd leagues. Players do not have to be Catholic or attend Cabrini Academy to participate (although preference will be given to Cabrini students).

Wednesday September 14th 6-8 p.m. CYC Photo ID Night

Hosting the photo ID at Cabrini’s gym should be easy and convenient for many. There could be a crowd, so come early to help! We will sell pizza, hot dogs and soda to the crowd.
**ID cards are required of any child playing on a 5 th grade or above team.

Trivia Night & Silent Auction

Our biggest sports program fundraiser, emceed by Sponsors Club parent DJ Wilson (who promises easy questions). The $15 entry gets you beer, soda, snacks, and prizes for the top two tables (10 per table).

Fees/Uniforms

A fee of $25/player/sport OR $60/family/year is required. These fees pay the cost of registering our teams in the CYC league as well as equipment and uniforms.

It is the policy of the Sponsors Club that no child be excluded from playing on a team due to financial difficulties. Parents may contact Don Price, Treasurer, at 664-2694, to discuss payment arrangements in case of financial hardship.

Kdg. through 5 th grade teams wear the navy blue Cabrini T-shirt, purchased for $5 and worn for all sports. Depending on the sport, bottoms are sold separately. For 6 th – 8 th grade teams, a $15 uniform deposit is required and refunded upon the return of the previous season’s uniform in good condition.

The SPONSORS CLUB needs COACHES for our players. If you can help with this, please indicate this on the form below. The SPONSORS CLUB meets the first Wednesday of every month in the Cabrini Cafeteria at 7:30 p.m. Parents attending these meetings or helping at Sponsors Club events (Trivia Night, Uniform Sales) earn service hours required by the school.
